Abergwyngregyn
Community Council
Abergwyngregyn is a village on the northen edge of the Carneddau massif, about seven miles east of Bangor.
The area has a long history of human settlement, in particular it was the location of one of the main courts of the princes of Gwynedd in the 13th century.
The main attraction in the area these days is the Rheadr Fawr ('Great Waterfall') about three kilometers (2 miles) south-east of the village, where Afon Goch falls 37 meters (120 feet) to the valley below.
All village residents are permitted to join Community Council meetings should they wish to raise any matters of interest.
You can join via Zoom by clicking this link (password: Aber22) at the beginning of the relevant meeting at 7:30pm.
Should you have any questions, please contact the Clerk, Rita Roberts.
